Vision & Values
School Vision
Our school vision and values were reviewed in September 2025 through a collaborative process involving all the school community - including our pupils. Following this shared work, the refreshed vision and values were formally launched in January 2026.
Everyone Known. Every Child Nurtured. Every Heart Inspired.
At High Wych CE Primary School, we believe every child is a unique and precious gift from God. Our vision reflects our commitment to knowing each child personally, nurturing their talents, and inspiring their hearts to grow in faith, kindness, and curiosity.
Guided by the words of Jesus in Mark 10:14, we strive to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to flourish—spiritually, emotionally, and academically.

School Ethos
We value the links we have with St James' Church and we are fortunate to have Reverend Alison lead our services in the church as well as be part of Collective Worship each week in school.
The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice.
Our school encourages all pupils to explore the meaning and significance of faith, promoting Christian values through the daily life and experiences it offers to all its pupils. As both a Christian school and a village school, High Wych warmly welcomes children and families of all beliefs, faiths, and denominations.
